The symbolism of baptism, representing the death of our sin and of our old selves, and the rebirth of our new and blameless selves in Christ, is one of the most beautiful in all of scripture. This Sunday we remind ourselves of the importance of baptism and take a look at why we celebrate baptisms publicly.
