Being an author is a marathon, not a sprint.

So you write or pursue your goal of being an author it's important to have a long-term mindset. 

There is so much to learn and so much growth to happen. 

But you will find it really difficult to grow if you don't understand that those things take time. 

Are you prepared to commit at least 5 to 10 years to being an author, to accomplishing your goals 

as an author? 

My mentors have been in the game for at least fifteen years. They have been steadfast and have reaped the 

benefits of being consistent and I want that too. 

I have made a decision to be in this for the long-haul and I know it's not going to be easy but this is what I want.
