The chaos and confusion which dominates strategic and economic policy is deliberate, resulting from a paradigm which serves the narrow interests of the financial oligarchy and its allies in the "Military Industrial Complex". The cartelization of trade and production has created an unsustainable debt bubble, which has produced a global health crisis and food insecurity crisis which threaten hundreds of million lives. A change in the underlying axioms in thinking is required, and the method of thinking which can break us free from the false choices offered by the imperial system will be the subject of the Schiller Institute conference this weekend, Dec. 12 and 13, "The World After the U.S. Election: Creating a World Based on Reason."
