Plans by labour Federation Cosatu to grind government services to halt tomorrow (Wednesday) are at an advanced stage. The labour union briefed the media in Johannesburg on its planned nationwide strike against corruption, gender based violence and collective bargaining. Cosatu says the strike will take the form of work stay away and protest action. The strike comes at a time when millions of workers in the private sector have either lost jobs or have received salary cuts.
