Two weeks ago, we had a caller from Durban who spoke to us about taxi associations targeting lift clubs in the region. Listeners also sent messages that confirmed that there is an operation called “Tlhokomela” and passengers of the lift clubs in townships are being thrown out of the vehicles. Today, we get a response from the provincial Transport and Community Safety fraternity on what it is that commuters can do when they are being targeted.
