Treasury on SRD Grants This morning, community organizations are taking tothe streets to march for the social distress grant to be converted to a basic income grant. A memorandum of demands will be handed over to officials which include the conversion on the SRD grant to a basic income grant. This protest will be taking place outside National Treasury ahead of the medium-term budget policy statement that is set to take place next week.
