Economists are warning that Cosatu and SAftu’s shutdown will have dire consequences for the economy. The two labour federations are encouraging the nation to join the protest action. Come tomorrow, what is the Casatu expecting seeing that SAFTU’s Zwelinzima Vavi is not sure about the support. Cosatu is however very confident that the action will be supported. Also what do they make of what economists are saying regarding how the strike will make things worse for the economy as not much will change?
