As the funeral of South Africa's ambassador to Denmark Zindzi Mandela is currently in progress we thought to use this opportunity to talk about her and other women who took part in the country’s liberation struggle. The 59 year old daughter of former President Nelson Mandela and struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, passed away at a Joburg hospital on Monday morning.
