Great read!
A culmination of so many things in life in a quick read....many things I can relate to made it interesting to read.
Very enjoyable
This short was really enjoyable. It was like chatting with a good friend and went by quickly. Thinner Thighs in Thirty Years was written very well and moved along smoothly. Made me want to read more by this author. It was the ramblings of a just getting divorced mother of three. How her day went and what was going through her mind in different situations. I would recommend thios one for anyone wanting a read of something comfortable and relaxing. Thank You amozon for the freebie.
It Made Me Laugh...a Little
I downloaded this book because it happened to be in the top ten on that particular day. I did like the story and will read more by the author. I just did not like how it ended so abruptly. There were a few laugh out loud moments.
I would recommend this for readers who are looking for something quick and fun to read.
Panzina's Passion
A fantastic short story
I first heard about Thinner Thighs in a short Wired Magazine article. I was intrigued by the notion that someone could write a short story and self-publish it as a Kindle Single. Baehr is an excellent example of why we shouldn't ignore the short story. Beautifully written, Baehr's work has a unique voice that's both humorous and compact. I'll definitely be looking for more from her.
Lots of fun- grown-up, but hopeful!
I enjoyed this single- it kept the witty, self deprecating promise of the title. After reading it during the first day of the holiday weekend, I went on to order two more books by this author, which I read without stopping (except when absolutely necessary- sleep, meals, company...etc. ) All were great fun, written by someone who has been there- I could tell that before I read the author's bio!
