This Sunday is communion Sunday, and we'll celebrate that sacred meal by reflecting on Jesus' institution of the sacrament in Luke 22. What does it truly mean when Jesus says, "This is my body, given for you?"

This Sunday we are continuing in our series Revealed and Given, but we are now shifting into the "Given" dimension of that statement. This Sunday we'll look at a key passage in the book of Mark that explores Jesus' own understanding of his identity and calling.

As this weekend brings the final Sunday of Epiphany, we’ll be looking at one of the most significant epiphanies of Jesus in the Gospels: his transfiguration.

This Sunday we’re continuing in our Epiphany series, looking at stories that reveal something important about the person of Jesus. We’ll be reflecting this Sunday on Jesus as the liberator of human beings from the power of evil, as demonstrated through the remarkable story of a man named Legion.

On Sunday we kicked off a new sermon series : Revealed and Given: A Journey with Jesus through Epiphany and Lent. In the coming weeks, we'll be looking at stories about Jesus from the four Gospels that disclose or reveal something important about Jesus' identity and mission. This Sunday, Rick Hutton will be preaching on another seminal Epiphany story, the wedding feast at Cana.

This week we are starting a new preaching series that will carry us through winter and spring. We will follow the life of Jesus in two parts, shaped by the rhythm of the liturgical calendar. The series is titled “Revealed & Given,” reflecting the dual movements of Epiphany and Lent — seasons that together draw us more deeply into the mystery of Christ. This Sunday we'll be in Matthew 3:13-17 where Jesus is Revealed as the Beloved Son. In place of preparation notes this week, I encourage you to spend time meditating on those verses ahead of Sunday's service.

This weekend, we will join together to proclaim the good news of Christmas alongside our brothers and sisters. Ed Satterfield will be preaching about Jesus as Suffering Savior.
