Sarah's Blog: A Millennial in Paris

In this episode, Sarah catches up with a friend from Belmont University, which is where Sarah spent her freshman year of college before transferring to AUP. Georgina, a British expat who has lived in the UK, Spain, NYC, & Connecticut, all before graduating high school, has truly lived as a ‘third culture kid’ through and through, and is something she has learned to wear as a badge of honour. The girls discuss its challenges and struggles; of cultural barriers and stereotypes in the US, and abroad alike, as this tumultuous year begins to come to a close. An open, lighthearted, yet extremely topical and honest conversation unfolds through anecdotal stories of Georgina's childhood leading to what has shaped her into the person she is today; a college student in Nashville, Tennessee eager to travel the world and continue on her life's journey as a 3rd culture kid wherever that path may lead.

LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, as well as Joffrey Ballet School cumulating to 9-period school days being the norm for her high school years. This shaped her into the creative and adventurous third-culture kid she is today; hardworking and optimistic. Her journey in the arts so far as been captivating and filled with inspiration from her heritage and love for dance & art. We also discuss her budding watercolor career, as well as balancing life in quarantine living with a roommate and beginning a relationship during confinement.
