The Well invites women to explore what happens when the ache of the human heart becomes disordered — when our thirst for love, peace, identity, control, validation, or comfort slowly drifts away from God and toward the world.
Through personal stories, reflections on the Samaritan woman at the well, and real-life examples of disappointment, judgment, pride, control, and suffering, Colleen and Kelly unpack how wounds can quietly shape our responses, habits, and relationships. Together, they discuss the importance of slowing down, becoming curious about our hearts, and allowing God to gently reorder what has gone awry within us.
This episode is not about perfection or “having it all together.” It’s about recognizing the deeper ache beneath our reactions and learning how to bring that ache back to Jesus — one honest step at a time.
If you’ve ever felt restless, disappointed, emotionally exhausted, spiritually disconnected, or stuck in cycles you can’t seem to break, this conversation will remind you that your thirst is not wrong — it simply needs to be led back to the right well.
This week, pause before reacting.
When you feel disappointment, frustration, judgment, anxiety, control, or restlessness rising up within you, don’t immediately numb it, post about it, fix it, or push it away. Instead, become curious. Ask yourself:
Then pray simply:
“Lord, empty me of all that is not of You. Fill me with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love.”
And if this episode touched your heart, share it with another woman who may be quietly carrying her own thirst, ache, or struggle.
Welcome back to The Well. There is room for your story here.
