What if Jesus saying “I thirst” means more than just physical pain?
In Week 5 of our Last Words series, we explore John 19:28–29 and discover that these two simple words carry deep meaning throughout the entire Gospel of John. From the woman at the well, to Jesus’ invitation for the thirsty to come to Him, all the way to the cross—there’s a powerful theme unfolding.
In this message, we see how Jesus’ thirst reveals His humanity, fulfills Scripture with intentional purpose, and ultimately points to a greater exchange—He became thirsty so that we could be truly satisfied.
We also began our time together celebrating and praying over our missions partners, thanking God for the impact happening beyond our church. One exciting highlight was getting to celebrate a new church plant coming to the South Bend / Mishawaka area this year. We’re believing for lives to be changed and the gospel to move in powerful ways across our region.
💧 Jesus became thirsty… so you would never have to be again.
