Thank you for tuning into "Starting Small", a podcast about brand development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the modern world. In this episode I am joined by Seth Maxwell, CEO and Founder of the Thirst Project, a youth driven organization to provide water to underprivileged regions. Studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Seth had an interest in acting, which changed after meeting with a friend.
At 19, he met with a friend who was a photo journalist for Nat Geo, sent to document her findings on raised issues around the globe. She introduced Seth to the reality and seriousness behind the world water crisis, which moved him to push full time into his vision, provide clean water for those in need, through youth led contributions. The Thirst Project has provided clean water to over 400,000 people, with over $10 million acquired in funding.
