For many Americans, retirement is becoming a frightening uncertainty rather than a well-earned reward.

In this episode, we hear from people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who are facing an uncomfortable reality: they have little or nothing saved for retirement. One man in his 60s is still searching for work, applying for jobs paying just $12.50 an hour without even receiving a callback.

But how did we get here?

Is it poor financial planning? Stagnant wages? The rising cost of living? Or a combination of circumstances that leave people financially vulnerable as they age?

We're talking about money, regret, personal responsibility, and the unsettling possibility of working for the rest of your life.

Because retirement isn't just about having enough money to live. It's about having the freedom to stop working.

Black women are dumping their personal hairstylists for salons like Ulta Beauty and JCPenney, and some hairstylists aren't happy about it.

But here's the question: Can you really blame the customers?

For years, Black women have complained about hairstylists showing up late, charging outrageous prices, enforcing ridiculous booking policies, and treating loyal customers like they're doing them a favor.

Now that some women are taking their money elsewhere, they're being accused of abandoning Black-owned businesses and taking money out of the Black community.

But since when does supporting Black businesses mean tolerating unprofessionalism and poor customer service?

In today's video, we're talking about the growing frustration with some Black hairstylists, the shift toward corporate salons, and the difference between supporting your community and being expected to accept anything in the name of loyalty.

Because loyalty is a two-way street.
