A woman named Debbie shares a terrifying encounter that changed the way she camps forever.

 While spending the summer with her nine-year-old daughter at a remote campsite on Lake Telos in northern Maine, they discovered their canoe had been mysteriously destroyed. That unsettling discovery was only the beginning.

Later that night, something walked into their camp, circled their van, tested the doors, and appeared determined to get inside. Trapped in the darkness with nowhere to go, they spent the entire night wondering what was waiting just outside.
