The final episode of season one begins with a Pride and Prejudice comparison and ends with a live sports streaming rant. Sandwiched in between those items is an unwitting Great Lakes dating metaphor. In other words, your favorite midwestern gal pals are going out in style!!! Just like the flags at Lake Michigan indicate how dangerous the swimming conditions are, so, too, do the behavior flags flown by our prospective romantic partners indicate how dangerous (or dumb or dull) they are.
