A sermon offered for the 25th Sunday after Pentecost, November 14, 2021, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Roanoke, Alabama.
Principal text: Mark 13:1-8
“Now some folks want to say that the bad things that happen are God’s judgment. But the reality is that we humans are usually the best agents of destruction. As Christians, we are to not give into the fear, but instead, we are to point to the ways that God’s kingdom is breaking into the world.”
