It snowed where John lives and as such, John went on an expedition and came across the missing premiere holiday pilot episodes. Cutting them down into one conversation featuring vignettes of all the movies discussed, Magnus teaches John about the Netflix Christmas Cinematic Universe surrounding Vanessa Hudgens while John regales Magnus with the tales of Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus (2005, featuring Steve Guttenberg!) and Christmas in Connecticut, which has possibly the most bananas premise for a holiday movie ever (and that includes Holidays in Handcuffs) but features a woman with gumption (much like The Holiday). Elf and The Philadelphia Story also enjoy honorable mentions.
This series of film discussions are a little choppier than present day episodes, if only because Magnus and John were still looking for their voice back in the pilot. But the heart is there. Just like in the holidays. And it's fairly easy to imagine decorated vignettes behind our hosts, because there's nothing they like more than a good gay theme.
