My name is Jade Hui. I’m from New York City and am in the process of getting my bachelors degree at Connecticut college where I major in English literature and sociology with a minor in entrepreneurship. For the last 4 months I have been studying these fields in Dublin, Ireland where I had the opportunity to learn about these subjects, the culture, and travel around Europe. Now that I’m on my way back to Conn I plan to begin research on my thesis which entails the success of women writers throughout history. One of my favorite things about college is the aca pella group that I belong to where I can sing with all of my friends and express myself musically. God blessed me with a beautiful voice and it warms my soul to share it with the world. When not studying, writing, or singing, I love to spend time with my family and friends at our beach house on Shelter Island.
