Do you wonder how I do it all...here’s the secret…
I DON’T! Haha This is as legit as it gets. In this episode I open up to you all about what it’s really like working from home and having a business. I talk about the pros and the cons cause I want you to see what it’s all about!
I am so grateful for the crazy journey I’ve been on and how it’s led me to my podcast management business and this podcast. But things are changing again and I’ve got news for you in this episode.
Also...I hope this episode reminds you that it’s ok to take breaks and that you do not have to do it all. There is no magic secret. We are all just doing the best we can with what we got.
Where are my working moms/entrepreneur moms at?? What’s the one thing that keeps you going??

Did you know that 1 in 4 women have a miscarriage?
It’s a heartbreaking thing that happens more often than we think. Although it is starting to be talked about more, it is still not talked about enough and that’s why Stephanie feels like she needs to continue to open up about her experience with miscarriage.
In this very vulnerable episode, Stephanie shares her story about her two miscarriages. She shares what her body went through and also how hard it really was. But she talks about how her strength came from sharing her story more. Stephanie believes that miscarriage needs to be talked about for the mental health of the mom. She breaks down everytime she hears about someone who has a miscarriage because it takes her back to her experience and she hates that anyone else has to feel and go through that. I appreciate Stephanie’s bravery and strength. Her willingness to share will hopefully continue to help moms out there who have had a miscarriage.
Stephanie Ingram is the founder of momUP-Upping Your Mom Game! She is an entrepreneur extraordinaire turned mom, turned super-passionate self-care mama coach who works from home with her toddler and seven month old (and husband) underfoot.

It’s valentine’s week and I have a special surprise for you!
On the podcast, we have a former guest coming back on the show! Amanda Louder, sex and marriage coach, came onto the show last year around Valentine’s which is super fun because she’s back again! Yep...talking all about intimacy but this time something I feel that is SO RELATABLE to almost every mom out there.
Do you ever get touched out from the kids all day and then don’t ever feel in the mood? This episode is for you because Amanda gives some great tips and ideas to help you change that!
This episode has some amazing golden nuggets you don’t want to miss like:
> The 5 gears of sex (this was soooo good!)
> How to get in the mood after a long day of “mom”
> The importance of touch
You don’t want to miss this episode. And Amanda suggests you get your spouse to listen to it too (*wink wink*)!

I had some time recently to read about my younger mom years.
I have always liked to journal, but since being married and especially after having kids, I just didn’t do it as much. But the little I did write, I am grateful I did!
I was reminded of some things that were really important to me when it came to be a home. Honestly, some things I had forgot. And I thought..I can still change and be a better mom, but I am also doing better than I thought.
In this episode, I just wanted to remind you that you are doing a great job. That you are important and what you do it important too. I think it’s important that we aren’t so hard on ourselves as a mom and as a person. Being negative in our heads can come out sometimes. We are just too dang hard on ourselves.
So in the season of love, I want you to remember to love yourself. As a mom and as an individual person.
I would love for you to write for yourself on a paper that you feel really confident in as a mom TODAY. You’re doing better than you think.

In the first round table episode of the year, I chat with my longtime friends, Brittanie and Maddie. We chat about all things new year, supporting our spouses and the good and bad about budgets! Sound familiar? It should!
These are all topics that have been on the podcast this month! For the next couple of months, I’m going to have a round table episode getting moms and experts on the podcast chat about the topics of the month and get new perspectives on all things legit motherhood!
I loved how in this episode Maddie gave her thoughts on looking at the new year with reflection, both Brittanie and Maddie sharing their appreciation for their husbands, and some of Brittanie’s budget tips.

We do a lot as moms. We really do. But what about dad? He does a lot too but how does he feel about fatherhood and his role as dad? This week I wanted to get a different perspective and we are talking to the one and only Wes, my man! Haha In this short but sweet episode, we ask Wes some questions about how he sees fatherhood and parenting! It’s a good reminder that it isn’t easy for dad either and that he is trying. Take a listen!

I know midnight struck New Year’s and there was no magic button that made 2020 go away and everything was back to normal.
BUT it is a new year and I am feeling hopeful. I am feeling hopeful that good things are coming. In this episode, I share with you some of the things I want to improve on this year and tell you about why I am hopeful this year. I hope this episode gives you some motivation as we start a new year and to remember that there is no perfect way to do motherhood, to survive a pandemic or to reach your goals.
For the podcast this year, I want to hear YOUR legit motherhood stories. These will be featured at the beginning of each podcast episode. Record a 1 minute or less clip of you telling a story, a tip, a frustration, anything legit in your mom life and email it to me at [email protected].

Do you sometimes get stuck on the negative changes in your body since having kids?
Do you talk unkindly to yourself in your head about the way you look?
I’ve done it. I told you all I would get legit, well here it is.
I don’t like to talk about this topic much because it hits home right now. This hasn’t been my year of good health habits and my confidence in myself has weakened. But you ladies asked for this topic and I didn’t want to shy from a topic that is probably sensitive for a lot of people to talk about. Legit motherhood is all about opening up about those real and raw parts of motherhood that are hard, but needed to be talked about.
This episode gives you some new insight into how you can look at your body in a more positive way. I give you some new mindset phrases to tell yourself and read an amazing quote from a recent Instagram post I saw from @comefollowmedaily. It’s not easy to change our minds about ourselves, but it can be done. You can change the way you see yourself in all its stages.
Our bodies change after having kids. It’s part of the evolve of our motherhood. So why are we so hard on ourselves? I hope this episode helps remind you of your beauty and worth outside of a look or numbers. I think you are beautiful. Believe it yourself.
