THIS IS NO PROSPERITY GOSPEL: Managing Money While Not Loving Money - MNO EPISODE 146
It is very easy to say that I want my viewers/listeners to become wealthy, and that is true. The problem is that being wealthy is subjective, and it is dependent on many confounding factors in your life, which I understand. The question is: Why do I want you to build wealth? The answer? To be able to live with dignity as you age and to give with extreme generosity without hesitation. I do not believe that your wealth is a function of your faith, but I believe that we can live out our faith with wealth that was built based on good money management principles from the Bible. This show is NOT the prosperity gospel but an educational look at how to manage money in a way that can glorify God and provide you freedom to live and give with abundance. Today, we will discuss:
1. What the prosperity gospel is
2. How to manage money well without idolizing it
3. Why the prosperity gospel is a lie that should be avoided in our discussions of money and biblical financial principles
