Hey guys!! It’s been a long time coming and I’m super sorry for taking a longer break than anticipated, but the podcast is finally back for season five! I’m super excited for all of you to listen to this episode because I have not one, but TWO special guests who also have podcasts of their own! Ayoka from the Mind Elixir podcast and Destiny from the Melanated and Educated podcast both join me on this episode to discuss why it’s important to not “compete” with others on how oppressed they are or how much discrimination they face. By comparing those experiences with other people, it opens the door for taking away from one’s own experiences and struggles which is never okay.
