"Come up here," said a voice, and then John had a revelation of God's throne. Now in this episode it's your turn to come up and have a Revelation of God too. After our reading, we consider the throne of God, but also the idea that this chapter might be the rapture. In reality it isn't. David really didn't mean to laugh in the video when he questioned the rapture. Certainly we intend no disrespect, but it just doesn't seem plausible that this could be thought. This chapter is also where the symbolism of Revelation starts to get more mysterious and there are disagreements about meaning among Christian and scholarly groups.
