You've probably heard people say that January 1 is not the real start of the new year--it starts in spring, when everything wakes up. That's when the real "new beginning" energy comes in.

While I do align with that and believe that we should be much more aligned with the cycles of nature than we are, we also collectively CREATE this "new beginning" energy when enough of the world agrees that January 1 is the time for resolutions, goal-setting, taking action, etc.

So which is it??

This is a baby step into a topic I intend to dive deeper into, regarding where to put your energy and attention after a spiritual awakening (or multiple awakenings lol). Let's start here.
