Many have described chapters 12-16 of Romans as the “practical” section of the book, because it deals more directly with the behavior expected of Christians. What we learn is that all Christian behavior is a result of walking in dependence upon God’s resources provided for us in Christ.
It was these resources, found in chapters 1-8, that form the basis for the exhortations found in this section. We will see that the presentation of our bodies to God by faith is our reasonable act of worship…in other words, it just makes sense based upon all that God has done for us!
