Tropical Alfred has slowed down and it could possibly be downgraded from a Category 2 to a Category 1, but the rain, wind and flash flooding is the real danger.
Acting Commissioner and Queensland's Disaster Coordinator Shane Chelepy told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "I know this is a rare unique event and people wanted to get out and see it I understand that but it's now getting risky."
"My advice is you've had a look now it's time to go inside."
"This is risky behaviour," Acting Commissioner Chelepy said.
