Psalm 119, verse 126 says, "It is time for you to act, oh Lord, for they have regarded your law as void." In other words, God, it's time for You to do what only You can do. There's a pervasive thought in this godless society that claims God no longer exists and that He has no power. The Psalmist is saying, "For your name's sake, oh God, rise up and stretch forth your hand one more time and begin to heal." That's exactly what they prayed in Acts chapter 4, verses 29 and 30. They said, "Consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness, by stretching out your hand to heal and performing signs and wonders through the name of your Holy servant Jesus." For you today, this is the cry of my heart, that God would stretch out His hands to you in your situation. It's time for You to act, oh Lord, and remember, my brother and my sister, it's time to pray.
