Welcome to my first two part series! It truly deserves a longer session because boundaries are a big deal. I get it's a buzz word, and, it's for good reason.. If we aren't setting standards for how we want others to show up for us (and us show up for them) we are slow stirring a pot full of disaster.

Before you send out that agreement, begin that project, jump into a new endeavor, let's create an outline of what boundaries can look like so you set yourself up for success before the clock starts. A tug of war between two pillars of success; motivation and discipline. What's really the difference? Let's talk about the power in leaning in one more than the other, and how it's become vital to my everyday life as a full-time entrepreneur/project manager/millennial nerd.

It's taken me a lot of trial and error to find a routine that supports my current goals and priorities, especially as an entrepreneur. You don't have to be an early riser, nor a trendsetter when creating a routine, you just need to be in tune with what works best for you.

The more responsibilities we carry as we age, the more difficult it is to focus on what truly matters to us. We are juggling more than we ever have before as a society, and it can make you feel like you're losing your mind - sometimes forgetful, easily irritated - so does that mean there is something greater going on? Spoiler alert... you're not alone.

Sometimes you need to tie yourself up, and put yourself in time-out. Other times, you have to cut the rope and fall in order to see things in a new light. Here's to new beginnings!

It's time to jump. I've had this vision of how I want to give back and share everything that goes on, how it started, and what's to come in a way that felt perfect.
