From the book of Isaiah 61:1-3, we learn that thanksgiving is praise. We should give God a loud praise with our voice and body. No matter what we are facing in this world we need to continue to praise because that is how we can through. Praise is something you do when before during and after God answers your prayers so he can get the glory because of who he is.
