How she started becoming conscious and aware of self-acceptance. She felt more grounded and reassured in living day-to-day life. She started appreciating people for just their being, and not for what they have or what they do. She could feel that I no longer resisted or judged someone because of their looks or status. She got better at handling my emotions during family get-togethers. This felt truly liberating and authentic. She would call it a sign of me becoming a better individual.
