Kelly & Tom thoroughly enjoyed Milos Forman’s 1981 epic Ragtime, so much so that Kelly barely gets any songs from the musical in. They are overwhelmed by many cute babies and cameos from everyone who’s ever been in anything, ever, but still manage to be quite moved by the plot, shocked by McG in her earliest form, amused at EL Doctorow’s inability to name characters, and admire various facial hairs. Kelly recommends the books of Ann Rinaldi, Tom derails things at the very end, and everyone wonders about the Emma Goldman scene that might have been. Hosted on Acast.
