Sword Art Online at this point is being criticized and belittled for no reason other than "following the crowd" and jumping on the bandwagon.

Despite what some toxic fans will say, it's not the worst anime by any stretch of the imagination. And it seems most fans in the anime community pick on SAO to make themselves feel better at other people's expense.
