Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally got beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise which lead Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is. He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy...but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess.

The Dysfuntion Gets Resolved A Bit
I LOVED this last book. It was like a whole new world compared to books 1 and 2. Suddenly, there are things actually happening. Not all issues are resolved, that is evident in the first parts of this book, but finally we are moving and progressing forward (with a couple steps backwards here and there). Jesse is finally becoming a little more human and we understand him a little more. He's less exasperating because he's shown more of himself. I think that if books 1 and 2 could have been combined into 1 book, it might have been helpful. I am just glad that I continued to read so I could get here to enjoy Jesse and Ava together. By the way, HOLY CRAP on the things that are revealed in this book. Who knew 1 person could have sooo many secrets?? Some of which I never even saw coming. I think the last book got better as I read as I listened. I gave book one 4 stars, book two 3 stars and book three 5 stars. So, if you are wondering if you should continue after book 1 or even book 2...I say, forge ahead, it is worth it
Edita Brychta was outstanding with the delivery of the story
All 3 books
Would you consider the audio edition of This Man Confessed to be better than the print version?
I love the audible books mainly because it MAKES me listen to every word and not skip bits that I think might be boring or not enhancing the storyline. This way I realise that every word is worth the time to listen. In this book I needed to pay a lot more attention so I am very glad that I listened and not Read this final book in the series.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Jesse especially when you come to realise that he has definite reasons for a lot of his actions, not that I always agree with him. He has some very heavy sigh moments with Ava that have little to do with the hot and heavy bedroom scenes and more to do with the all encompassing love that he has for this woman. I really love his office redecorating.
Any additional comments?
Bearing in mind I am talking about all 3 books and not necessarily just this one.I loved and hated all the main characters in this story in equal parts. I was constantly quietly screaming at Jesse and Ava because although they were both well and truly old enough the immaturity in the way they dealt with difficult situations made me want to pull my hair out at times. I couldn't help but think why can't you all be a bit more honest with each other and take a break from the misunderstandings and over reactions for awhile, BUT, with each book the characters grew on me.
