Today, we’re going to see some other “this or that” choices that have enormous implications. We’re going to be looking at This or That: The Essentials of Faith. 

We are going to see Paul, in chapter 4, drive it home one more time as plainly as he can by considering “This or That”, the real thing and the imposter.  He’s going to draw a dividing line between the two.  And it is all centered around The Essentials of Faith.  This is really helpful because it is so easy for us to feel the same pull and fall into the same traps that the early Christians in Rome faced.  So, let’s approach this with an open heart to hear what the Spirit of God would say to us today as well.  If we will, we can get some things settled for ourselves today that many believers carry around as anchors for years, keeping them from experiencing the fullness of life in Christ.
