Blessing in Jesus Christ

My Name is Willie T Ayers

This podcast is about sharing God's word and not being afraid to do so.

The classic verse promoting apologetics (the defense of the Christian faith) is 1 Peter 3:15, which says that believers are to make a defense "for the hope that you have."

The only way to do this effectively is to study why we believe what we believe. This will prepare us to "demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ,"

As Paul said, we should (2 Corinthians 10:5). Paul practiced what he preached; in fact, defending the faith was his regular activity (Philippians 1:7). He refers to apologetics as an aspect of his mission in the same passage (v.16).

He also made apologetics a requirement for church leadership in Titus 1:9. Jude, an apostle of Jesus, wrote that "although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints" (v.3).

Sharing God's Word and Grace: A Closer Look into the Truth of What Jesus Did for Us

Sharing God's Word is an essential part of Christianity. One of the ways we can do this is by sharing the Gospel with other people.

The Gospel is a message of hope, redemption, and restoration. It offers hope through Jesus Christ's death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead to give us eternal life with God. It also provides a way for us to be forgiven, restored, and set free from sin and its consequences.

To share God's Word and grace, we need only speak honestly about what Jesus did for us in his life, death, and resurrection.

What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is a message of hope, redemption, and restoration.

It offers hope through Jesus Christ's death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead to give us eternal life with God. It also provides a way for us to be forgiven, restored, and set free from sin and its consequences.

The word Gospel means "good news." The term "gospel" is found 16 times in the Bible. The Gospel is a message about what Jesus did for us; it's about salvation.

The good news is that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again three days later, defeating death so that we could be forgiven, have a new life with God, and live in freedom from sin.

Jesus said:

"I am telling you the truth: Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." (John 5:24)

How do I share God's Word and Grace?

One of the ways we can share God's Word is by telling others about Jesus. And we can do this in a variety of ways:

- We can tell people what Jesus did for us through his death and resurrection.

- We can share the Gospel with others. It is an important message of hope, redemption, and restoration.

- We can have conversations about faith, church, relationships, and more.

We can try to be present when people search for answers or go through difficult times.

- We can make connections that lead to deeper friendships over time where the Gospel naturally comes up in conversation or as a natural part of our lives together.

Why should I share God's Word and Grace?

The most important thing to know about sharing God's Word and grace is a requirement for all Christians.

Jesus commanded us to tell others about His life, death, and resurrection. We are called to be witnesses of Jesus and share the Gospel with others.

There are many reasons why we should share God's Word and grace. First, it's an opportunity to witness to others that God loves them and has a plan for their lives.

We can open up the door for people who don't know Christ by allowing them to hear what He did for us on the cross and through His resurrection. Sharing God's Word will also enable us to seek opportunities to share the good news with people in need of hope.

It may not be easy but knowing that we have been forgiven through Christ gives us peace no matter what we are going through.

Conclusion
Sharing the Gospel with others isn't just a good deed—it's a command.

Jesus died on the cross and bore the sins of the world. He shed his blood to cleanse us from sin, and He rose from the dead to give us new life.

Forgiveness and eternal life are ours when we believe in Him. One of the best ways to share God's Word and Grace is by sharing your story!
