When you produce a trailer for your podcast, I highly recommend that you have a script ready. 

Don't just try to wing it. Because (as you will hear in this trailer episode of mine!!) that hardly ever works out.

I am all for being spontaneous, free and nonscripted when doing a podcast (authenticity always wins for me) but when it comes to a trailer you want it to be tight. Make every work matter. Know what you want to say. Have it written out. Practice a few times. Your theme music as a layover will add some mood. That's helpful too. 

After all you want to entice your listeners to spend time with you. What can they expect, why should they subscribe? Who are you? Why does this topic matter (to you)? Why should your listeners care?

Stumbling over your words like I do in this trailer, probably will through them off.
