Salvation is deliverance. But deliverance from what? In Galatians 1:4, Paul tells us we have been delivered or rescued from this present evil age. In his sermon on the Day of Pentecost, Peter urges his listeners to "save yourselves from this corrupt generation." You and I have been saved from the corruption of this present evil age to live in God's kingdom of light, right here, right now.
