They were daily dependent on the Lord.We do not know what the future holds, and we are not called to live as slaves to it. We are called to depend on God and trust that He will show us, one step at a time, where we should go.19 min
- The heart behind our actions mattersIn this episode we unpack a recurring theme from Jesus’ teachings in Matthew’s Gospel; the idea of cultivating a proper heart motivation behind our actions. Following Jesus is not about following a list of rules. It’s a lifestyle. The Pharisees wanted a black and white list of do’s and don’ts so that they could be sure of their moral goodness. But Jesus calls us to follow Him; to walk in His way and imitate Him. Our purpose is to become more Christ-like, and that’s a full life transformation, not just a list of rules to tack onto our current way of life.20 min

We need Jesus for our salvation, we can be saved by no other way. But in this age of constant comparison, is it right for Christians to push back against the idea of ‘being enough’?20 min
