Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “This wasn’t part of my plan!” Perhaps you’re the type to have a detailed plan for the next five years, or perhaps you’re a dreamer and it may not be a “plan” but it’s an expectation for how your life will go. When things don’t go to plan, we can easily be left disappointed and doubting God. What if the problem is within us though? Planning and dreaming aren’t inherently bad, but doing those things without God, assuming He will take the supporting seat instead of the director’s chair, is where we go wrong.
