Red Alert! Cyber Defenders Focus on Russian Threats

US officials are sounding a loud warning about increased Russian cyber intrusions and possible attacks on critical infrastructure here in the US, as the war in Ukraine rages on, and threatens to spill across the border into neighboring countries.

Just this week, FBI Director, Christopher Wray talked about Russian cyber threats on CBS 60 Minutes, and Business Insider ran an editorial penned by Morgan Adamski, who is the Chief of the National Security Agency (NSA) Cybersecurity Collaboration Center.

Here in Ohio, Governor Mike DeWine created a new position; Cybersecurity Strategic Advisor, and appointed Kirk Herath, who currently serves as the Chairman of the State's Cybersecurity Advisory Board, to fill it.

But that's not all.

Here in the Akron area; Cybersecurity professionals are both working to protect both public and private networks all over the world, as well as training the next generation of cyber warriors who can step up, and counter threats from Russia and beyond.
