In this episode I chat with John Boivin (10:35), a writer, reporter, and artist as we explore the Narrows in Slocan Valley. We discuss the history of the pit houses, the logging in the Narrows, journalism in todays world and I fall down twice.
There's a new message from the Minister of Happiness in the year 2035 (40:50) and run down events in the upcoming months and have a good damn time.
****NOTE**** In the episode John refers to the damage of the pit houses as caused by the nearby rail "trail" when in fact he of course means railroad. We think very very very very very highly of the rail trail folks and not quite as highly of the original railroad
