I feel like we keep talking about spring, like it's just around the corner or something! Perhaps that's because it is! We always get excited to see the flowers start the bloom and to start retiring our winter attire. It's almost upon us!
Another exciting lineup of guests for this lovely Saturday morning:
- Pat Farmer - An Australian icon and legend! Pat is always running away from something, or is he running towards it? Well, we find out that Pat is ALWAYS running towards his goals, his latest adventure is running towards a goal to raise money for SOKS - 'Save Our Kids' - with the upcoming 'Quicksand Australia' soft sand run. A Rotary Club North initiative coming up on the 31st of August. Tune in the listen to Pat tell us a very brief summary of his amazing life, (too much to cover it all, perhaps a book is needed Pat?) www.quicksandaustralia.com/
- Virginia Riley - In 1993 Virginia Riley began her handmade jewellery business from her tiny home studio in Avoca Beach, NSW, Australia. It grew to become one of the leading suppliers of fashion jewellery in Australia, stocked in over 140 stores, including her own boutique in the historic Strand Arcade Sydney. www.virginiariley.com/
- Shaun Oldfield - We love recycling! Shaun does too! Instead of sending all that building material to the tip, let's give it to people like Shaun who has setup a business at West Gosford, recycling building materials. Perhaps it's not useful for anything more than firewood, or perhaps it's old hardwood that can be upcycled to something amazing. Also an advocate for Men's mental health, Shaun is a great coastie who we loved chatting with. www.instagram.com/coastalrecycledbuilding/
