Do you think things would have been different if the people had known what Jesus did? Do you think the disciples would have been so quick to get him that donkey if they had known it would carry him to the city where he would die? Do you think the crowd would have paraded with him if they had known that Jesus would be dead and in the grave already by that same time the next week?

Maybe they would have. But they shouldn't have.

Knowing how that week would end actually makes what Jesus did on Palm Sunday even more amazing.
