In this week's teaching, we asked the question: do we need to obey God and produce good works?

The key thought is if Jesus has rescued you, your life should look different.

What is the basis of our freedom from the wrath of God and sin? The basis of our freedom is not works, it is not spiritual experiences, and it is not harsh discipline of our bodies. So what is the basis of our freedom?

Jesus + nothing = our basis of freedom from God's wrath and sin!

In this teaching, we unpack Colossians 2:13-15 and learn that abundant life and lasting fulness, are given by God through His Son Jesus! Through Jesus, we are freed from our bongage to sin, He paid the debt we owed, and He overpowers evil!

The Key Thought is: Jesus + Nothing = Death --> Life

There are three questions we should ask and answer, every day of our lives: What am I rooted in? What am I building on? And what flows from my life?

In this teaching, we are challenged to consider the question: who is going with us on the journey of life? We were reminded of the importance of the friends we have in our lives and of what it means to reflect the friendship of Jesus.
