He missed four games because of a concussion last season.  Malgin, who left the game against Tampa Bay in the second period after he was hit by defenseman Anton Stralman, has eight points (four goals, four assists) in 42 games.  https://www.nhl.com/news/aaron-ekblad-of-florida-diagnosed-with-concussion/c-287669330 Ottawa Senators forwardMark Stone likely will miss a three-game homestand that begins Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning (7:30 p.m. ET; RDS2 TSN5, SUN, NHL.TV), general manager Pierre Dorion said Monday.  Stone missed a 4-2 win against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday with a lower-body injury and is week to week, Dorion told TSN 1200.  Dorion said he is hopeful Stone will accompany the Senators for the second game of a home-and-home set against the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday. The Senators, who host Montreal on Saturday to conclude the homestand, trail the Canadiens by two points for first place in the Atlantic Division but have two games in hand.  Stone is second in scoring on the Senators with 50 points (22 goals, 28 assists) in 63 games.  Columbus Blue Jackets defensemanRyan Murray had surgery to repair a broken hand Monday and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.  The injury occurred when Murray blocked a shot in the first period of a 5-3 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.   Tortorella thinks Murray can skate on his own without a stick during his recovery.  Murray, 23, has 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in 60 games this season. Chosen by the Blue Jackets with the No. 2 pick in the 2012 NHL Draft, Murray has 60 points (11 goals, 49 assists) in 220 NHL games, and was one of three Columbus players (Boone Jenner, Gregory Campbell) to appear in all 82 games last season.  Pittsburgh Penguins forwardCarl Hagelin is expected to miss a minimum of four weeks because of a lower-body injury.  Penguins coach Mike Sullivan made the announcement after Pittsburgh extended its win streak to five games with a 3-0 victory against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on Saturday.  The Penguins are also without forwards Patric Hornqvist (concussion), Matt Cullen (undisclosed) and Bryan Rust (upper body), and defensemen Kris Letang (upper body), Trevor Daley (knee) and Olli Maatta (hand).  Hagelin has six goals and 16 assists in 61 games this season. He played 17:32 in Pittsburgh's 3-2 shootout win at the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.  Reports out of Chicago today say that Center Artem Anisimov will miss 3-4 weeks with a lower body injury.  Anisimov was closing out the final seconds of the first period by battling for a puck in his own zone. His tussle with Montreal Canadiens winger Alexander Radulov didn’t end well: Radulov lost his footing and fell on the back of Anisimov’s legs.  In 63 games this season, Anisimov has 22 goals and 44 points.  GoaltenderBrian Elliott will not play because of illness when the Calgary Flames go for a franchise-record 11th straight victory on Wednesday.  Elliott has won nine games with a 1.74 goals-against average and .943 save percentage during Calgary's 10-game winning streak, which matched the Atlanta Flames' run during the 1978-79 season.  Chad Johnson, who last played on Feb. 24 in a 4-2 win at the Florida Panthers, will start against the Boston Bruins at Scotiabank Saddledome (9 p.m. ET; SN, NESN, NHL.TV).  Johnson is 18-13-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .913 save percentage in 33 games this season.  Johnson played for the Bruins in 13-14.  In 27 GP, was 17-4-3, 2.10, .925 Milestones/Records/Honors/Deaths: San Jose Sharks centerJoe Pavelski , Anaheim Ducks goaltender Jonathan Bernierand Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson have been named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week ending March 12.  Pavelski recorded six points in four games, including a League-best five goals, to power the Pacific Division-leading Sharks (41-20-7, 89 points) to three victories.  Bernier went 3-0-0 with a 1.62 goals-against average, .948 save percentage and one shutout to lift the Ducks (36-23-10, 82 points) into second place in the Pacific Division.  Karlsson paced defensemen with 2-4-6 in four contests to help the Senators (39-22-6, 84 points) extend their winning streak to six games.  Suspensions/Fines:  Washington Capitals defensemanKevin Shattenkirk has been suspended for two games, without pay, for charging Los Angeles Kings defenseman Kevin Gravel during NHL Game No. 1010 in Los Angeles on Saturday, Mar. 11, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.  The incident occurred at 15:57 of the third period. The stadium is the home of the New York Mets, and would be the second New York state location to hold an outdoor game in a matter of days. The Columbus Blue Jackets (16 games), Minnesota Wild (12) and Philadelphia Flyers (10) are the three teams with a double-digit winning streak this season.  The 2015-16 season was the first time three teams had double-digit winning streaks, according to Elias. The Chicago Blackhawks and Florida Panthers each won 12 in a row, and the Anaheim Ducks had an 11-game streak.
