When Jesus spoke about preparing a place for His disciples in John 14:1-4, Thomas boldly asked, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" This question led to one of Jesus's most significant declarations: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

Pastor David emphasizes that Thomas's question is universal - every person and religion seeks to know how to connect with the Divine. However, Jesus makes an exclusive claim that He alone is the way to God, not through good works or religious practices, but through faith in Him. The pastor challenges both non-believers and church members who are "dabbling" with Jesus rather than fully surrendering to Him. As we begin our 40-day journey to Easter with Ash Wednesday, Pastor David calls us to genuine repentance - not religious obligation, but true surrender of every area of our lives to Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
