HE HAS RISEN!

Everyone: “He has risen indeed!!”

“Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.” 40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.

“If someone asks, ‘What are these wounds on your body?’ they will answer, ‘The wounds I was given at the house of my friends.’”

Three Reasons for the Scars

1: Something from the past: God suffers

2: Something for today: God sympathizes

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15 KJV

3: Something for tomorrow: God offers hope

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5
