Some gifts require preparation to receive properly. After all, you've got to clear a space in the living room for that Christmas tree. You've got to turn the spare bedroom into a nursery for that new baby. And we've got to unclutter our hearts to receive the new life of justice, peace, and compassion that God offers us in Jesus. So, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord!"  (Mark 1:1-8)
