Romans 13:7 (KJV) states, ”Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.”

Many people miss their blessings because they do not honor others, and do not appreciate the people God has sent us. God doubts anyone who is not faithful, and we must please Him by honoring with admiration and conviction. Honoring is easy when you love someone as God loves us. We must learn that honoring does not supply a need, but it is what you owe to others.
